Our First Certificate preparation courses and other official exams are designed to help you use your language skills to achieve the best possible grade on the exam you are taking. Our official English exam preparation courses teach you how the exams work and what the examiners expect. We also offer a wide range of practice activities using the types of questions that will appear on the exam. By completing one of our official English exam preparation courses, you can approach the exam with confidence. Our First Certificate preparation courses and other official exam preparation courses are short and intensive to ensure their effectiveness. All our courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR).

Study modes

EBC offers the option of studying online or in a face-to-face class.

On-line

Our online course provides in-depth training in all important aspects of exams.

• A course suitable for people with a minimum CEFR level of B1/B2.
• The official exam preparation course is a powerful course of 108 modules: 74 lessons, 34 progress tests, 48 ​​reading exercises, 48 ​​listening exercises and 48 audiovisual exercises.
• This course provides rigorous and solid preparation. Having an official certificate gives you a tremendous advantage when looking for a good job because most require English.
• It lasts approximately 250 teaching hours.

In person

The preparation course for English official exams consists of 20 or 40 one-hour classes in groups (maximum 6 people) or privately. If it’s a private course, we can adapt and focus it on your needs. The 20-lesson course lasts 4 weeks (1 hour/day). The 40-lesson course lasts 8 weeks (1 hour/day). With prior arrangement, the schedule for individual courses can be adjusted to shorten the duration. The course prepares you to pass all 5 parts of the exams:

1. The reading test
2. The Writing Test
3. The grammar and vocabulary test (Use of English)
4. The Listening test
5. The speaking test

At the end of the course, we will review the exam format.
